Regarding Party Queuing for Dun Scaith (Jan. 19)

Currently, we have received numerous reports of long wait times for "Dun Scaith" while queuing as a full party.

After investigation, we were able to confirm the following, and would like to report the situation.

Waiting times in the Duty Finder are balanced overall by prioritizing those who queue as a party. However, because there are only 3 Tank slots in a 24-man raid, congestion in the newly implemented Alliance raid is creating longer than usual wait times for Tanks who queue solo.

For this reason, we changed the algorithm for the 24-man raid in Patch 3.5 so that both solo Tanks and Tanks within a party are lined up in the same queue, thereby balancing out queuing times for Tanks.

However, "Dun Scaith" is currently heavily congested, and this congestion coupled with the change in algorithm is creating longer queue times than previously for parties which include a Tank. We apologize for this inconvenience.

In order to address this issue as quickly as possible, next week we will be returning the queuing algorithm to what it was prior to Patch 3.5. Until then, we ask for your patience and understanding.
