this is what iam afraid of from cross server DF

thankfully nothing serious but iam afraid the effect it will cause in future days later.

basically DF trial, people join mostly from other server (i see carbuncle, tonberry my home server, unicorn, ramuh, atomos)

short story party got stalled, everyone argue because "different server" apearantly has different "tactic custom/tradition" in dealing with the boss, so does the "when to use LB" moment, this cause some abrupt play because people start having "this is how we do it in my server"

1 moment LB is at level 3 and this person going to use it but then 1 guy start spamming "NO" non stop because thats not where the LB suppose to use, another moment 1 guy start explaining how to do, and another guy interrupt "thats not how we do it, mine is better" yada yada its ridicilous

i really hope this didnt affect further, because if it does iam afraid some player will just ragequit left and right, all because a stupid "my server tactic is better than yours" claim

So basically you fear that people will need to start communicate again and find a common thread, and they may be not able to? I don't see that. There may be some communication difficulties in the beginning, but people will solve them. It will bring new views and new tactics to other players, and eventually they will have a common thread. In contrary i think it will help progress and clear content faster in the end, when players stop to insist on their own views and open up to other ideas. And I think they will!

I think cross server pf is the best what could have happened. Realm is alive again, people communicating, speaking, chatting, socialising and enjoying theirselves. At the end of the day this is what mmorpg is all about. That is just my honest opinio.

yes maybe iam just worried too much, it just happened a couple hours ago and the cause is so simple its ridicilous

i just dont see any reason why people arguing over something simple as that, especially in DF trial where iam sure everyone is already max out on sync level

Hasn't duty finder been cross server for ages? Its cross server PF that was just introduced. Sounds like you had a bad mixture of people, different tactics are common but I think in this case the people were the offenders with their lack of communicating in a calm and collected fashion before the fight.

Yes. DF has been cross-server for a LONG time. PF is new to it.

DF has always been the whole data center. The only thing that's changed is your perception of the people you're being matched with.

Yeah the DF culture has always been your whole data center, nothing should really change. As far as cross server party finder goes, a lot of people will put their intended strategy in the comments "A11S - Weekly Clear - 2 chests - 2 point method - save south tower" etc. etc. It's usually short and concise but people who are familiar with the fight will know what the 2 point method vs. 3 point method is.

Yes they should remove it immediately because you once got into a party and something went wrong, and you should under no circumstances take a few moments at the beginning of the run to discuss what the plan is
