Born Again Anima Quest - Weapon in Inventory Not Working

Quest text for this says that you either have to have a sharpened weapon equipped OR in your inventory. I've done two of the three required dungeons as a different class - once with my relic in my actual inventory, and once with the weapon in my on-person armory. Neither of those runs registered as complete. The only time I've gotten objective completion has been with my weapon equipped as my main class.

It should be clear that you have to be on the class that uses this weapon.
