Veteran Rank Rewards - 360-day gap? Seriously?

Is there an error with the requirements for rank 14? 360 days?

Why is it not 120 like the others?

They've run out of ideas for Veteran Rewards & plan to abolish them altogether. This might even be the last one. They're trying to stretch out what they have. I'm annoyed too as I've not missed a single day's payment since I began playing so should have loyalty recognised, especially when others only subscribe for the month of large patches. /stompsoff

I'm betting that they'll tie some of the Veteran rewards to the Mog Store when they eventually revamp the system.

My idea is that instead of being X days subbed to reach the next tier of rewards, you earn the rewards by spending X amount of cash either through subscription, Additional Services, or Optional items. And once you hit a certain amount of cash spent, you earn a token to redeem for one of the sets of Veteran Rewards and have those added to your account. Once you choose a set you'd have to spend X more cash to hit the next threshold to get another Veteran Token.
