Best/Worst Dungeon?
Thread title
Now that all the dungeons are released for Heavensward, what was your favorite and what was the one you prayed to RNG gods you'd never get?
Best: Great Gubal Library Hard, Good music, lots of interesting lore and was the perfect length
Worst: Hullbreaker Isle Hard, I knew the point of this dungeon and the story behind it but I just didn't find the human(oid) bosses to be interesting. The only highlight was Ymir from VI.
What's yours?

Best: The Vault
Worst: Aetherochemical Research Facility
-
Best: Wanderer's Palace (the first version) (for gameplay) or Hullbreaker Isle (the first version) (for aesthetics) or Sohr Khai
Worst: Pharos Sirius (Hard) - particularly tedious, sleepy, and there's an exceptionally big difference between how people with different experience levels will run it
-
Best: Saint Mocianne's Arboretum
Love everything about it. I love the aesthetic, the music, the feel of the pulls, the bosses, and the equipment that drops from it. Definitely my favorite Heavensward Dungeon.
Worst: Neverreap and Hullbreaker Isle Hard.
Hate them for being the opposite of all the things I love about the Arboretum. Didn't find anything about them aesthetically appealing, didn't care for the music, frequently restricted pulls, and the absolute worst bosses with gimmicks that would frequently interrupt attack combos and just make them an absolute tedious pain to fight.
At least the equipment they both give is nice.

My favorite ARR ones are definitely Haukke Manor, Snowcloak, and Brayflox's Longstop. I just really enjoyed those (and still do when I level new classes or get them in Level Roulette).
I've not made up my mind on Heavensward just yet. *shrug*

Best Dungeon for me, Snowcloak
Worst Dungeon, Hullbreaker Isle Hm
Vault right after Hull breaker though
-
Best Dungeon: Hard to say, they have good points and bad points.
Worst: Neverreap a.k.a Neverrun. Everything just drags on there.

ARR
Best: I'm just gonna list off a few, since these are cream of the crop in terms of ARR dungeons, The Tam-Tara Deepcroft (Hard), Pharos Sirius, Haukke Manor (Normal and Hard), The Lost City of Amdapor, The Sunken Temple of Qarn, Brayflox's Longstop, and The Keeper of the Lake.
Worst: Castrum Meridianum is essentially the epitome of the worst type of dungeon to exist in FFXIV since all of the encounters outside of boss battles are just thoughtless minion swarms (which about 80% of them can be skipped or made trivial by cannons) and the bosses themselves are just more minion swarms with a "big" minion. There is a total of one boss mechanic the ENTIRE dungeon, which is inexcusable at the end of the game.
Heavensward
Best: Great Gubal Library (Hard and Normal), and Sohr Khai are fun, interesting, and challenging. Not to mention the music for GGL normal which is probably my favorite Heavensward dungeon track.
Worst: The Dusk Vigil and Neverreap and surprisingly they're my least favorite despite being on completely opposite sides of the spectrum. The Dusk Vigil was the first dungeon in Heavensward and you couldn't wipe there on release unless your whole party went afk. Not only were players brutally overpowered, but it just didn't punish players enough when they constantly failed mechanics. Neverreap on the other hand had the problem with players being extremely underpowered, and would cause the dungeon to drag on forever. The only time where your party could actually face any real danger of not completing the dungeon was on the last boss, and that was purely due to a combination of a lack of experience with the new abilities and the purely chaotic nature of the fight. Not to mention that it practically guaranteed at least one unrezzable death to realize that you can fall off.

It was a toss up between Neverreap and Hullbreaker Isle when I made this thread, on release I thought the enemies had more HP than the actual bosses because of how tanky they were Also, every boss in that dungeon (except the second iirc) had annoying transition moments where you couldn't target them.

Best for me is The Vault. I think its fun and the plot is reaching the climax.
Worst is Dusk Vigil. It's so boring. Hullbreaker is close, but at least I have all my skills and its quicker.
