Looking for linkshell (Warning: long post!)
Hello fellow Selbinians,
even though me and my partner have been having a blast playing FFXIV as a duo for the past couple of months, something is lacking. Ultimately the game IS a MMO and as such we think it is about time we apply through these forums to find a comfortable home for our Lalafell and Mi'qote. Then what is it we are looking for, you might ask yourself? Well, we would be most happy if the LS in question meets the following requirements:
-Activity at EU times: We don't care where the rest of the people are from as long as they are:
-English Speaking: Even though we can communicate in multiple languages, I'd rather not break my head thinking about verbs, grammar and other stuff that might eat in on my actual gaming time.
-Social / Casual: We like conversation, be it in the background or as active participants, casual meaning no daily mandatory events or attendance. We prioritize fun over fast progress and gear and expect our fellow adventurer's to take the same approach.
-True Adventuring spirit: For us, the game actually starts at lvl 1, we are in no rush to lvl to cap and rather take the time to explore the world and take our time crafting and just generally messing about. Eventually, when WE are ready for it, we will try tackling end-game content, so no rushing for or from us.
-Patient fellow-members: We don't mind a wipe or two (or three or more), if it means we are actually playing content, instead of rushing past it.
So what can we offer in return?
-2 Helpful mature, experienced MMO players. We both started our MMO careers a long time ago with FFXI, moved on to WoW (don't judge please ^^), Vanguard, Age of Conan, Warhammer and most of the other beta's that were released between then and now. We know how these kind of games work and are continually aware that we could burn out on this game if it becomes too hardcore. That is to say, we are planning on playing XIV for a long time to come, being valuable and loyal members during that time.
Then finally:
We are a caster Lalafell, working on LTW and WVR, and a melee Mi'qote with a taste for tanking and working on all smithing crafts. In the long run we plan to try every class and job to find the most suitable ones to our liking. So far we've been able to be mostly self-sufficient, crafting our own gear and leveling/questing as a duo, and we will most likely try to continue this way, though more friends to play with would be a very welcome addition.
