Lalafell movement speed?

Hey guys, last night I was playing The Feast and I noticed something weird. Maybe it was just my imagination, so I'm consulting you.

We were against a full team of Lalafells. Nothing special but when I was chasing the melee of the opponent team, he started to jump while running away from me. We both had used sprint and were separated from all other players. I chased him for a good half minute and I wasn't able to catch up. Instead he even increased the distance between me and him. I'm pretty sure none of us had any buffs that increase/decrease the movement speed.

Was it a ROG/NIN? They get a trait at level 20 that permanently increases their base movement speed.

It was a DRG like me.

they move the same speed like everyone, simple their so tiny it seems they move faste.

note: injas and monks can move faster as well as arc/bard with swiftsong while not in combat

also be sure they werent sprinting

That only works if they don't have poison on.

If they were getting further from you your movement could be unoptimal, try to lock-on if you have trouble. There are third party programs people use, but I like to see video evidence before I shout witch.

1) Elusive jump.
2) Lags, from his or your side.
3) Speed hack.

I wish I could ride mounts in the Feast.
