Azys Lla, wasted zone

Don't you have the feeling Azys Lla is a bit of a wasted zone? Like, it was super cool during the main story, super relevent and then....every 2 patches we just go there to continue the story and unlock a primal, and that's it.
There's barely any hunt to do.
I was hopping for a robotic beast tribe ( I know they're not very beasty...), like, you get higher access to the facility as you do tasks for the robots. (Maintaning the area basically)

Don't get me wrong, the whole story thing is cool. I'm specifically pointing the lack of "other things" to do in this zone.

Anyway, I just wanted to hear about people's feeling regarding it as an "unused zone"

I didn't even finish the side quests there. I never go there, I don't even do the primals there because the story doesn't grip me.

i also feel we can use more reason to visit azys lla, but the same can be said for hinterlands post msq to some extent, we're just dropping by hinterlands to unlock the next alex or get into some cutscenes or unlock an expert dungeon - but then again even that is about 1 or 2 more reasons to pass by hinterlands compared to azys lla where you just go there now to unlock the next primal or get the next step of the anima

It was a cool moment to get in there the first time, but I also felt like the zone served its purpose as a story setpiece.
It is a wasted zone for sure, but frankly I dislike the vast majority of heavenswards areas. Flyable areas that have surprisingly little detail to them and most of the areas feel like a waste of time to go to after the story stuff.

Honestly, don't feel I'd ever go there unless I had to, something about the weather just kinda creeps me out.

So far, after the MSQ, I only go there for Hunts or killing monsters for mats.

And yes it feels kind of an underused area.

It is disappointing. Considering everything is due to Allagans, I would think there would have been more dungeons based there than what we got.

After Omega, I really hope we don't have to deal with any more Allagan relics. Hopefully other past civilizations -like the Mhachi did- will play a role

People say there is a huge FATE with shiny stuff, almost two years later I haven't see it.
The only reason to visit Azys is for the relic and gathering.

Yes, very much so. I really liked that zone in the MSQ; felt very "final area"

I always wished there was a reason to go back there after the MSQ, in general I feel all HW zones could have more fun open world things to do, I enjoyed exploring them the first time to look for Aether currents and loved how they added small stories to the side-quests, had no reason to explore them after that, when I'm doing hunts or treasure maps I'll just fly to the location, I don't find beast-tribe dailies engaging at all

imagine an open zone with potd like combat, that could be fun
