Performance Issues

GTS 450 1 Gig
Driver 285.62
4 Gig DDR2 800Mhz

Having severe performance issues and getting sub 30 fps on all settings including lowest at 1024x768. Getting same performance on default standard and high on all resolution 1600x1200 and below. My system can run skyrim with no issues and am having a hard time believing FFXIV is that much more complex that my system completely fails at it. If anyone can point me in the right direction to getting this problem resolved it would be greatly appreciated.

Turns out it was some sort of connectivity issue or server problem. After reading around other forums looking for answers I found a few complaints about connection problems and packet loss. After switching servers the problem is gone and gameplay is nice and smooth now. Moved to Selbina from Fabul.
