Expanding Walls with Windows

Ok, so here's a little idea I just had. In our house we have an area where we would like a little window type area.

Currently we just have it blank, so you can go from the stairs to the barrel area and vice-versa. But what if we could put a window type housing item in? That would open up more options (I already tried suggesting putting a partition there, the FC leader and house designer wanted that to be like a window into the basement). So if some items like that could be added that'd be awesome!

They'd probably have to figure out a way for a wall item (or create a new category) to cut through a partition. If they just made a partition with a window in it, it probably wouldn't be in the position that would work for what you were going for there. I would love to have something like that though and if they could manage that then they could make cut-through doors, arches and such as well that aren't reliant on one particular partition.
