Seeking Place To Call Home (FC Request)

Greetings boys and girls, men and women o/

After having tried to find an FC in game via various /yell /shout /day and getting only a response from a 2 person FC I now come to you, the Forum regulars.

I started playing 3 days ago and rolled on Ragnarok, I am a PS4 player and use all 3 peripherals (controller, mouse and keyboard). I am a social monster I.e I am in dire need of social interaction with real life people be it to group with, progress in game with, chat with and hopefully forge everlasting friendships with but so far I find my server lacking in the traditional eerrmmm fullness of English speaking gamers. I came into the world expecting more of an MMO feeling with recruitment spam in main areas, main areas filled with people just chatting away aimlessly or even group requests.

So far it's been a fairly lonely experience and yes, yes I know I am only level 17 at the time of writing this but I have social needs that only an MMO can provide.

I presume you ask inside your collective minds, who is this 33 year old, father of 4, husband to a beautiful UK gaming chick, semi retired Twitch streamer, user of words like Indoobadibly & Radical and a completionist type of gamer... well eerrmm yeah, that is me :)

Looking for an English speaking guild on ANY server that meets the following criteria:
1. Active in most aspects of Final Fantasy (housing, fishing, grouping, HC, SF, EndGame, event makers and participaters)
2. Knowledgeable about aspects of the game and willing to share said knowledge with fellow FC members.
3. Operating during my peak hours (19.00-02.00 GMT)
4. 10-20+ active members during my gaming hours.
5. Non Elitist, understanding and new player friendly
6. Must have cookies ;p

I aim to be the best tank possible but I love the fact that I can be anything my heart desires at any time. The game speaks to my inner gaming child and also to my grown up "must finish it all" mentality.

Willing to learn, group, party, contribute and laugh :)

Well my FC on Eorzea Empire is LF members now and willing to expand in ready for the 4.X raiding ^-^ we have a lovely bunch of people on there that is always up for a chat and the main time is GMT so your peak time is our peak time.

Were over on Phoenix server so if this feels like the Right FC for you why don't you give us a shout?

We have a M house but looking to move to a L, airships stabels, pretty much everything else that others FC have so if this sounds right to you we'll gladly accept you.

I'd say to try out Geuno on Leviathan. Some info on our FC (and the alliance) can be found on our website, which is linked below, but we do have everything and more you asked for with usually upwards of 50 people online and active during your time.

In general though I would advise having a look around before joining any FC to make sure it is a good fit for you. It took me a few days of looking around, speaking to people and even research over the net to find an FC I could stick with upon joining a new server. I have switched servers twice now, both times for friends, and have found FC's which interested me relatively quickly. Party finder, dungeons, the novice chat etc will all be able to help you.
