I got this quest upon reaching level 60 on my summoner, which is sending me to the Dravanian Hinterlands. My character has been to the Forelands but not the Hinterlands and all paths to that area are blocked to me. Can anyone tell me what quests or chains I need to do to access this area? Thanks in advance!
You need to keep doing main scenario. You've leveled your job ahead of the main scenario quest level. Unfortunately you won't be able to do your job quest until you unlock Hinterlands. (Around story lvl 57-58 I think).
Good news is, you won't be stuck with story quests ahead of your level.
Weird I have always been able to just walk into a zone even if under level. Of course the mobs killed me if not careful but nothing has ever been locked.
A barrier physically prevents you from going to the Hinterlands until the main scenario plot takes you there.
