<Tepe>'s Treasures Presents: A Starlight Celebration Gift-Giving Event!

Thanks for everyone’s continued interest in our festive proceedings! Less than a day to go, and we have lots of gifts looking for a good home!
For those of you just tuning in, let me ask you: Feeling the festive spirit flowing through your veins? Or are you instead feeling like a greedy goblin that doesn’t want to share with anyone? Maybe you feel like you can’t get ahead in the world, with nobody out there to help you out?
No matter your feelings about the Starlight Celebration, Tepe’s Treasures has the event for you!
For the next few hours, representatives of Tepe’s Treasures (Recognize us by our <Tepe> tag!) will be on the hunt for kind souls looking to give up some of their worldly possessions to help brighten the holidays for others. We’ll be accepting donations of cold hard gil or any treasured knick knacks you can find it in your heart to part with.
On the flip side, we’ll also be taking in requests from across all of Hyperion! We’re looking for your hopes and dreams for items of special importance to you, or just something you’ve had your eye on for a long time without being able to reach. Simply let a Tepe’s Treasures member know what your heart desires, and we’ll pair you up with our gift pool to do our best to make your dreams come true!
At 6pm PST tonight we’ll gather up all the lucky souls who’ve haid their wishes made real, and those donors who wish to have their kindness known for a presentation ceremony.
But we can’t do it without your help! We need your generous donations, and your heartfelt wishes! Let’s make Eorzea a happier place for the festive season!
How does it work?! It's simple! Either you're a beggar, or a gift-giver!
Beggars - Come on by to the Mansion or PM one of our girls to let us know exactly what you're looking for this holiday season! It can be anything from a couple spools of hempen yarn to craft some adorable mittens, or as anything as grand as a Mansion!
Granted, you can ask for anything ('Cept gil), but there's no guarantee that you'll actually get it!
Once we get your holiday wish (You only get one!) we put on a google sheets masterlist, open to the public so everyone can see exactly who wants what this season! Then on the gift giving ceremony we all gather around and give you whatever you asked for if your gift was honored!
If on the off-chance you don't get what you asked for, (Or you asked for too much! Tsk tsk) you'll get a complimentary one-hour session RP with any one of our girls to salve those wounds of disappointment! Enjoy the opportunity to weave your own narratives of excitement or intimacy! (All ages appropriate RP of course! 'Tis the season!)
Gift-Givers - You get to spend your holidays warming up someone else's! How kind of you!
For your part, you can gift three things. Gil, a specific gift, or an ambiguous gift! Here's how that gets broken down.
Gil - We're not allowing members to beg for straight gil, Gift-Cards are for IRL nonsense! So gil donations are to make people's dreams come true! We put the gil into our coffers, and the day before the event, any gift that wasn't honored we use the gil to purchase or create! It's the ultimate stocking stuffer!
A Specific Gift - Maybe you want to use the event as an excuse to give your friends exactly what they're asking for! You can browse the master list and figure out exactly what they're asking for this season, then donate specific to them! Once you give the gift, you can either want your name up in lights and on the gift-giving day we tell your recipient, "Courtesy of (Your Name)!" or if you want to remain anonymous, "Happy Starlight Celebration, from Godbert Manderville!" There's no limits on specific gifts, so dig deep for the happiness of your realm! Once we've got the gift we hold onto it for you, and keep it safe until the day of!
An Ambiguous Gift - An Ambiguous gift is essentially whatever random stuff you may have lying around! Maybe you have a delivery moogle code, maybe you have some fish-tanks lying around going unused. Just load us up with it, and we'll figure out a use for it! Many guests may not know what they want, they'll just take whatever gifts are available and we'll happily accommodate to feel like at least someone cares!
Finally new guests the day of! <Dec 24th 6PM PST> you can wander on in here and make some last minute requests! You get to declare to the entire server of friends and randoms what would make your holiday and with any luck can get that last minute wish! If there's any leftover gil or unclaimed gifts, we'll do whatever in our power to make those dreams come true!
If you’re nervous about giving up your worldly possessions to a bunch of strangers to hold onto, then don’t worry! Just show up at 6pm PST and offer up your own items to needy souls. We’re not running a monopoly on the holiday spirit, our doors will be open to anyone looking to give (or hunting for) gifts.
A huge thank you to all our donors so far, we have lots of resources to help make some dreams come true and a few wishes already wrapped up in a nice little bow! We’ve kept meticulous track of everyone’s contributions, so if the worst should happen and people aren’t in the mood for making wishes we’ll be happy to refund your offerings.
