Can I have it?

I have all classes ranked up, but I mainly play as Conjurer and Thaumaturge. I have enjoyed being a caster for most of my 15 years of MMO play.. because of one thing. I have a multitude of things I can do based on how I chose my abilities. I know that the future patch will have unknown/known reasons for reducing my options, but I don't think it is going to make game play any more enjoyable.

I love the combos, but a working battle reg of somesort to me is much more of a necessity to be able to feel like you are playing an MMO and not a single player RPG.

We're not playing 1.20 nor 1.21 yet thus we can't safely say it won't make the gameplay any more enjoyable, since quality of spells and abilities > quantity. You can argue a mage in generic MMO B has 72 spells but you can also safely say you'll only use barely a quarter of them in most situations.
