Positivity!

So there are a lot of threads on here complaining about the game in some form or another, or asking for changes based on poor experiences. While there is nothing wrong with these threads or ideas, I feel like it's also important to think about and discuss things in the game that we enjoy, or that have left a positive impact on us.

The only thing I'll ask in this thread is that you not argue with what someone else says they enjoy about the game. We all have our own opinions, and for something like this, they are all valid, as they relate to each of our personal experiences.

Personally, I love the story. I enjoy games that remind me I have these things called emotions. So far, only games to actually make me cry are MGS3: Snake Eater, The Last of Us, FFXV and FFXIV.

Crafting a bunch, just wish my character's non-existent ass didn't sadden me so much. Usually I'd be doing PvP because its sooo much fun, but Frontlines is barely ran because SE focused on Feast or rewards instead of all their modes and they still have gc restrictions when they could've given it to us earlier so we have something to do while we waited for the next patch....but Dailies are fun! ....before grinding them over, and over...

Also, the community. Been through a lot of MMOs and FFXIV has by far the best community for a game that has been around long enough for people to become cynical shitheads.
The only time I've seen a more welcoming community was when Everquest first launched and everyone was a noob.

Forums are mostly for criticism and discussion about issues, for every game pretty much.
It's good for the game and the community.

As for whats good? Well I returned almost a month ago and I do love the comfy atmosphere in the game. Played WoW for a while, but its just not as comfy to spend time in. I feel like WoW forgets to have fun with the quests and other activities. The soundtrack in FFXIV really made me think why most other games have awful soundtracks. Final Fantasy soundtracks aren't as good as many make them out to be, but they do have an actual soundtrack. Not just non-confrontational ambient music. There are actual songs, lyrics, proper pieces of music that are both memorable and fun to listen to.
Too many games just have that boring, forgettable backround music that I end up turning off overtime.

Also the vast variety of shorts, panties and thigh highs in my retainers inventories is magical at this point. Never too much of those.
