Aetherial reduction

I get 517 rarity everytime when trying to make leafborn sands. I think i need 525 for grade 7.

So i put on perception food and i still get 517 everytime...

What do i need to do to increase my score?

I'm no expert in aetherial reduction. According to the game's "Active Help," though, it sounds like the rarity results from the original item's collectability. So when you're gathering the items with botany, that's when you would aim to increase the collectability. This, in turn, "may increase" the resulting item's rarity.
