Gardening Q: Just getting seeds of the same plant?

So I've dived into gardening to make Blood Peppers for crafting adorable chibi primals, and I was wondering, how/can I make the blood peppers just make their own seeds? I've just been crossbreeding and using grade 3 thalanan soil to encourage it, so I was wondering is there any way to just make plants make more of their own seeds? I'm pretty new at this aside from guide following.

I don't think you can get blood peppers from crossing with themselves. There may be a blood pepper loop, like there is for some other things that crosses blood peppers with another crop to get blood pepper seeds but I can't remember. There's an excellent thread on here about gardening that is the definitive source of information about such matters.

There is no known direct loop for making blood peppers seeds from blood peppers. However there is a way to get Chives from your Blood Peppers, which you can use to create more Pepper seeds thereby skipping a crossbreed

Glazenut Seed = Prickly Pineapple x Old World Figs
Chive Seed = Blood Pepper x Midland Cabbage
then you take those Chive seeds and make more Blood Pepper seeds with the standard Glazenut x Chive cross.
