Can I Party Cross Server?

If I add a friend from a different world, but same data center, can him and I party up for the duty finder?

if you could friendlist cross world it would probably work, but you can't friendlist cross world to beginn with.

SE should totally implement cross server Party Finder, it would help those that are unable to get into content on their server, and of course if you have friends elsewhere.
But this will never happen sadly

It might happen, come 4.0. They've been looking into stuff like that and they've already made cross-server finders which they didn't think was possible when first requested. Playing on the exact same server as a friend is always the best option though.

Yeah that may cut into the world transfer aspect ($$wise for them) if we could play with friends from other servers, but it sure as heck would help with what i said.

Cross server Party Finder was mentioned in Live Letter XXIX, when they announced the Raid Finder that got added in 3.3. They're hoping to add it in 3.5, along with the ability to chat cross-server.

Excellent, as it currently stands it has been very hard to get into any parties and was maybe going to take a long break or unsub
This should help if truly implemented
