Question for all...
So, today I have been queing into feast and notice that people are saying, "Kill the scholars fairy first".
Is this really a thing? Or are people throwing games? Bad?
Really curious because, I feel it is the worst thing to do.
Let me know what you all think.

As someone who played Scholar almost exclusively for two seasons of the Feast, I laugh when they do that. It's very easily swiftcast summoned back.
-
it's the worst thing you can do. never do that.
it's a waste of time, it's look an advice of a new player to me.
you better have to watch how much sch tools is used : remaining stacks to use the instant heal/pvp skill ect, stun it when they reach 15/100 HP to if your mate is focusing him, you will certainly kill it.

I've never seen that suggested, and would never follow through with that! As said, it can just be resummoned. The fairy doesn't contribute enough heals at all to be a valid target at any stage.
I've heard horror stories of people lb'ing the fairy even... *shudder*

May be worth if nothing else is around and scholar is in attunemt, or to get your combo ready or mantain your stacks on it. But even then if you are really about to kill it, scholar can just sacrifice it and get 3 stacks and the heal%+.... So..only very few times it may be worth it, but a stun or silence would do it too without wasting dps on it, if you really wanna stop that fairy for some seconds...

Seen that today as well... vs Zeg... was a dumb strat lol.

Reason for attacking pets would be if you, for example, need to keep your stacks up and there is nothing else to hit. I find smn pet kinda handy for that in fl at least.

I think it's fine for a Summoner to Contagion Bane off of them but other than that... Ehh? There's some BRDs and MNKs I played against when I played SCH that bursted my pet... Lol.

Nope go for the caster as far as I've been told.
