I know I'm in the minority (shocking that I am), but I absolutely LOVED the Animus/Novus/Nexus glows.
Since 4.0 will be ending PS3 support, would we be able to introduce a "glow effect" slider effect option? I hate the weak new glows. I'm actually considering starting from scratch getting my 2.0 monk and dragoon (I mained NIN and BLM until about 3.3) zodiac wep up to Nexus both just for the glamour glow. I'd love to see them on other weapons too tho.
The Sharpened Anima weapons have similar runic circles applied to them like the Nexus, though not as blindingly bright.
I'm not sure what options the console versions have over PC, but I noticed recently that my PotD weapons weren't glowing while I was on my laptop (they looked terrible, they were just flat colors), so I dug around in the options and found that the "Glare" option, I think it was, controlled the glow effects for them (also my garuda ex mount, the only one I've gotten so far). If the console has that maybe see if it's turned on/off?
