Mining and Botany request

I was wondering if you could make Mining and Botany more like Fishing. With Fishing you can pretty much fish anywhere there is water and then you have school's of fish on top which allow you to target rarer fish.

What I would like is the same thing for Mining and Botany, so you would be be able to Mine anywhere there are rock's and still gain SP but the items wouldn't be as good and then use the current Node's for more special and rarer item's and the same with Botany and tree's.
