Question about Alexander looting

Hey guys, I'm a bit unclear as to how Alexander - Soul of the Creator(A12) looting works.
I know that i can only receive one item per week in the other zones but in the Duty Finder for A12, it says 2/2 items received. I was under the impression that you could loot twice in A12 per week but I just got my first and only item there for the week and it's already 2/2.

Can somebody drop some knowledge on me?

One is the loot you roll on, the other is the Alexandrian gear you get for just completing first time each week.
