Planning to move here

Hello,

I'm currently thinking about moving to this server.
I'm a player from the EU, and I'm aware this a US server, but I have a few friends playing here, and I'd love to play together with them.

I'm just trying to look for some information about the server.
Are there any people online during EU prime time? That would be 18:00 CET - 24:00 CET for me.
How about economy and queue's ? I'm an avid crafter and probably would like to recover my gil I lose during the transfer :) Is there something valuable worth selling that I should buy in advance with my excess gil?

What about the community?
I heard this server is rather small compared to the other, but I'd be more then happy to invest in the community here and get to be a part of it.
