I got a new hard drive and I'm trying to get this back on to it. The game downloaded fine but I need to do a 16gig update from the launcher but everytime it gets to around 500megs it gives an error saying it can't download files 20512 25008 20495. Does anyone know a way to fix this? It's pretty annoying
This is a very old issue that SE never cared about resolving.
About 3 or so months ago i had to re-install due to the launcher window itself being faulty after a patch.
It had taken me a monthor so to finally get it to patch, and was just by random luck. (lost 1 and a half sub time)
Unfortunately it would seem they have also deleted that post which someone also offered a possible solution.
I tried everything from using google dns server, port forwarded, etc...
Best bet is to just keep trying and hope for the best. Still think the launcher itself to update is the problem
Wow that's so stupid. I just started to try again and now it gets to 1041 megs before closing and I have to start it all over again just to keep getting the sane error.There's no way I'm spending a month of my time hoping the stupid thing decides to work so I guess they're forcing me to quit because they're to stupid to fix their damn launcher.
