PotD scoring should be more clear.

We get some generic score, but all we know for sure it includes the number of floors cleared, enemies killed and Accursed Hoards found. If we want a higher score we don't know if we need to roam killing extra mobs then start a boss fight with 5 minutes left, or do we need to speedrun and get extra time left bonus, because we don't know if the time bonus exists at all. We need a bit more detailed rundown how that score is composed than this:

Also score should be updated after every 10 floors cleared. If I've cleared 130 then disconnected at 131, my leaderboard score will remain as Floor 100 score, because it wasn't automatically updated upon DC, yet save file is automarked as KO meaning it's unusable anymore.

I did two different 1-100 runs for comparison, the first was speedrun, 848 kills.

Then I did a run with 1173 kills where I farmed mobs on the last floor then started the bosses with 5-10 minutes left.

So, for 38% more kills my score raised only by 2%. It looks like the final floor has the most influence on a score and everything else is negligible.

It certainly seems that there might be more factors than just enemies killed and floor reached. That "based on a number of factors such as....." line seems like typical dev ambiguoity to me.
Not at all surprised if there are more factors such as:
Speed, damage taken, traps activated , chests opened, pomanders used, maybe accomplishing it with a lower Aetherpool Level would be more beneficial albeit difficult? This is going to need a lot of community contribution to accurately break down T.T

I did some testing in floors 1-10 and tried to figure out, if opening chests grants points, but it doesnt seem like that. Stepping into traps seems to have no effect on the score either.

It might be possible that killing enemies with a rage/resolution gives less points, but its hard to test

There's definitely something else going on here. There are people with floor 100 scores of under 500k. And some with floor 130 with less than 900k.

There are still scores of 500, 600, 700, 800, 900k. This doesn't match up with a 2% difference with only two entry points.

Well, I did a solo run and ended up with 1.3m points. I skipped enemies in the end and only cleared floors, when I had an extra rage.
Another run with a tank, heal, dd ended with 1.2m points. We did full floor masspulls up to 100, were fast and killed literally everything everywhere.

no clue why it still gave less points, except solo players get more points overall
