Having a tough time trying to figure out what to play of the two classes for this savage tier. My group comp currently is DRK/WAR/AST/WHM/DRG/BRD/SMN.
Based off FFLogs, Nin this tier is consistently lower than Mch in dps. While the two provide great utlity would Mch be a better choice with this comp and tier?
I would take NIN because he pushes all raid dps with TA, the MCH does that just for physical classes and i'm not really a fan of to many ranges in raids.
But in general: Play what you prefer.
For a party that already has a BRD, nin brings more useful stuff. Shade walker and Smoke Screen is really useful to help managing aggro and they also have TA and Goad which speaks for themselves. But unless you're going to run hardcore, either world first progress or speed kills, pick whatever you feel more comfortable on.
Use whatever you're better at. If you are about the same with both, I'd go ninja to avoid competing with the bard for left side loot.
Play what you like more. :)
Shadewalker and Smokescreen are very useful in the raids, and there is already a bard in your grp, so the mch is not really needed.
But Hypercharge buffs your tanks, drg and bard, so its also very helpful.
