Petition: To completely overhaul "Minion" battle system and give a fresh life.

Hi, To be honest, i'm not surprised to see the minion battle system in ffxiv a big flop where its the same 5 people playing against each other in the arena (or even lesser). Whereas the majority of the population rather play chocobo racing. There is a sense and explaination to everything unless the developers have decided to do something and revamp the whole "minion" gameplay, which is obviously not happening so here i am making a petition to overhaul the minion battle system. This is how it should be

-Objective: Game starts with masters which is "the players", summoning cards which is the "minions" into a battlefield. First to destroy the opposition master wins
(* a minion card battle system where we can actually see our minion in play like "Yu-Gi-Oh" and gameplay like "Hearthstone") This is definitely doable if the developers intends to put full fledge work into this)

-Starting deck: Common minions that you've collected & (basic spells/items) will be used as starting deck, and when you rank up you can add better minions to your deck (rank wise)

-NPC: Sells items/spells for MGP to improve players deck

This is just an overview of how it should look like (*there will be other factors like tournament, achievements where you can get certain special item/minions)

Please put serous thought into this as it will heavily impact on the outcome.

I don't see this being any more successful than the current Verminion to be honest.
To me chocobo racing and Triple Triad are more successful because they have goals to grind out with breeding a grade 9 bird with lots of stars for racing and collecting all the cards for TT.
With Verminion the grind of collecting minions is mostly outside the game. Once you've beaten the solo challenges and gotten enough tournament wins for the penguin there's no more reason to play besides enjoying challenging other players in general. PVP activities as a whole are not popular in XIV.

You can see this in Triple Triad as well. It's very rare to see players playing each other instead of npcs outside of Tournaments and a lot of the Tournament players are just win trading for the unique cards.
