This same texture is re-used for the Book of Winds and for Apanda's book, so it's not specific to Demon Tome, but I'm curious what this could be. It's all phonetically pronounceable (almost, and the words that aren't could be just me transcribing it wrong), which would indicate a spoken language of some kind. There's a few bits of dragonspeak in there as well, "Mor" "Morn" and "Akh" stand out, but I haven't gone and really looked.

Could this be one of the old languages that Ferne alluded to? A cipher of some kind? Or just a gibberish by an over-stretched art team?

What's in there? Everything. Some of the words are English-ish, some of the words are Dravanian-ish, some of the words have roots in Tolkein. I think I even see some Chinese and Latin in there. Along with words like Qarnic, which seem Eorzean-inspired, perhaps.

Can the entire thing be turned into something logical? That I don't know. At the moment, I doubt it; I tried for a while. But maybe!

What other things do we see in there, though? We thought maybe "Ylk'eorz" was the something relating to Eorzeans via "The Ilk of Eorzea", maybe. "Pentetolothis" looked like a mix of Greek and Sindarin that we took to literally mean 58, or by way of five octets, 40. "Atheologicad" we had a lot of ideas for, logic or knowledge pertaining to either aether or the gods, such as "ungodly" knowledge or "unholy" knowledge, maybe. "Atymos" might be Atomos, Sempyr might be related to Semper. "Noct" seems like an obvious root that pops up.

Oh, and if you look at the first and last letter of each line on the player-right page, from top to bottom: CTHULHU FHTAGN.

I'm double-checking where our transcriptions differ; Yours is by far the more accurate - but there's a few places I'm sticking to my guns. Updating in the OP.

"CTHULHU FHTAGN" is from the H.P Lovecraft book and loosely translates to Cthulhu waits. It's part of the chant "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" which translates to "In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming". The text in the middle may simply be to distract from this and the demon tome may be a clever reference to the books? Wouldn't be surprised if they baited people with a bit of various languages when the truth was obviously in front of us. Sorry if someone has mentioned this before/or it was obvious.

Indubitably so. CTHULU FHTAGN is no doubt exactly that, an easter egg reference to H.P. Lovecraft's work. I'm hoping that's not the only thing in the whole texture though.

I've gone through the dragonspeak dictionary on some of the other promising dragon-y sounding words and came up blank, but I have some other (increasingly unlikely) ideas to investigate as I get time.
