Do attributes have got cap ? Or was it removed

Before all these updates, every attribute had a cap. So when I was lvl 30 with str 120 only part of these 120STR counted and the rest was not used.

Example : I am lvl 30 with STR 120, only 70 of STR is used for character and 50 is not counted into the stat at all. (This was before updates).

I didnt read anything about this cap for attributes removed in patch notes. So I wonder if this was removed but it should have by my guess. :confused:

It should otherwise materias +stats would be limited and that would be nonsense.

It is very much likely there is a cap, because plasting on like 300 str through materia just seems a bit crazy.

The battle system they're using now seems like FFXI's which means the cap would be 999, the whole point of Materia is to make you strong with a high risk, so if you could put 300 materia STR on then it would work.

The only reason it was capped in the past was because of Pysch. lvls could be higher than ranks.

I'm sure they have changed it when they did the stat changes, stats works differently now so they must have.

Obviously in 1.20 we are supposed to get stats customisation back to some extent so who knows what the caps are, devs could do with being a whole lot more transparent about all this stat stuff.
