I've been out of XIV for a while due to been in hospital.
Well a few months to be exact!

Come back and basically all my friends have well gone!

Decided to come back anyway, Gotta say ALOT has changed while I've been away.

So can anyone tell me a good/busy server to come back on?
Wanna find a nice LS, good friends that I can spend time with and enjoy the game!

Welcome back, hope hospital was not anything serious.

Servers I would recommend:
- Lindblum
- Besaid
- Rabanastre
- Trabia

Those are some of the big ones i can think of.

If you make a new char, go for the highest chocobo count, im sure you know.

There is always good people on every server!

I would recommend you stay on Mysidia, there always seems to be people around, I know at launch it was one of the biggest servers and it seems to have a decent amount of life now.

Welcome back! Hate to hear you were in the hospital, but glad you've recovered. If you happen to join Selbina, you can join my group, we've worked together bringing everyone up through the levels of their jobs of choice and completing quests together. A large number of us are getting ready to tackle Ifrit and the darkhold, but still regularly raid Toto-rak (level 25 dungeon).

Selbina, one of the most populated servers currently and pretty damn lively. Also, welcome back!

I'm on Trabia. I don't know about the other servers but Trabia gets full around 10:00PM (GMT - I'm from EU).
It's lively and the community is good/nice/helpful. But as stated before, I think all servers have good people.

That was for Trabia. Hope you get info about other servers so you can choose.

Getting a LinkShell shouldn't be that hard. If you need an active one just check Viion's website and you can see the ones that are currently recruiting and what for.

People act in a different way on the forum here and once they are in-game. So don't be afraid when you see the burning threads here because once you log in, most people are nice =)

I'd look into server forums for some LS that are actively recruiting and see if anything picks your interest. Soloing is really boring and depending on the class, tedious. Parties are pretty fun though. It seems many people are coming back lately, so you should find low level people on every server. Thing is, most people gather at Ul'dah, so if you start somewhere else, the camps are going to look pretty dead.
