Hello,
So I just recently bought an apartment in game via the
new patch that added it into the game. Having a lot of
fun re-creating my room from real life into the game but
i'm having some issues / obstacles.

Now, I understand obviously there are limitations based
on the items that you can get in-game for the looks /
setup of rooms but these issues are not related.

#1: Lighting (Not a big issue)
The lightning in the apartment rooms feels very static.
If you cover the windows and then reveal them, the
light from those IS dynamic, but the rest is static.

#2: Windows
Since i've been trying to do this 1:1 to my room i've
had to sacrifice the window, but instead I have added
a Map on the wall to compensate for the window in my
head (as well as towel hangers for the curtains). I was
wondering if we could use the outdoor window furnishings
inside somehow? or if we are getting interior windows at
some point in the near future?

#3: Roof
Is there anyway to lower the ceilings? I don't live in a 20ft
house.. lol (as much as that would be cool)
This is more of an asthetic, but it does create an issue with
where my light (lamp) is in the air as it is floating, where if
I could throw in a lower ceiling it would just clip partially and
there would be no issue.
I thought maybe putting in a rug on a shelf, then doing the
glitch to have it in the air, but apparently i can't place rugs
on shelves, so that kinda screws that idea..
Any suggestions to get a lower ceiling?

#4: Additional Added Walls (Lighting)
If you change the rooms overall light the additional walls
that you can add in later (Not standardly attached) do
not have the same darkness as the standard walls.

On another related topic, I was able to do my PC setup :D

The pictures are my monitors, the star music boxes are
keyboards, ink and quill is my mouse. <3

OH!, and the small fishtank is my PC Tower :cool:

You can actually edit your post to get past the limit. For whatever reason the 1000 characters is only for the initial post, when you edit it it's then unlimited (or at least appears to be).

You can place lamps in the room (various furniture items) or you can change the light source of the room (5 levels), but I'm afraid that's it for customisation with the light.

No sorry, inside and outside objects are completely separate.

Yes unfortunatly that is the case. There have been requests for quite some time now for more walls/partitions that match, but nothing has appeared yet.
