Hello!
So i'm mainly playing Machinist and i'm still running on the stats from my Machinist last patch, edging 1300 Crit, 717 acc, 610 Sks and 540 determination. However, looking at the gears from this patch i'm kind of confused as of what to do ... none of them are like what i'd consider ideal ( Acc/crit ) or very very few, so i'm thinking of changing my stats but i don't know in which way, any other fellow machinist could give me advice on this ?
There really isn't much new gear that's all that favorable for us this time around, outside of the Savage Alexandrian gear. 1300 Crit is pretty awesome, and if I recall right, 705 is effectively your accuracy cap needed for even A12S now.
Best advice I can give is get pieces for the increase in main stat, but with the least impact to your priority secondary stats.
That's my whole issue D: Pieces for the main stat would literally murder my crit rate, as an example there's the gloves, to get any "decent" gloves i'd either loose 50 accuracy or 70 crit, so i'm stuck with augmented primal gloves, and that's just an example, most of the gears are like that for Machinist :/
Gearing in 3.2+ was so easy for us, now it's payback time :/
Juggling accuracy is a real pain. It's very obvious which Shire pieces are worth buying and which aren't, but keeping everything else balanced while getting those is difficult. Even A9S drops don't really solve this issue, but with A10S and beyond you might be able to finally get some freedom - if that's an option. I had to revert to the Midan Ring (Acc Speed) at some point just to keep up accuracy, but it was worth the loss of secondaries to boost other pieces.
