Wondering if they would consider changing their loading screen when entering a new zone. There are a lot of great artwork in game already and i seems such a shame and a waste that the only time you see it is when you log in the game.
Why not make use of them instead of a black screen? And if they have time, use their concept arts for the dungeons as well.
I realize that this isn't much of a priority, but i think it would further enhance the beauty of the game.
I"d say no because their black loading screens tend to be really quick, it would be odd to put in an interface of artwork in-between loading screens since that would honestly feel more jarring than fading into black and back into game. I mean imagine going intoa Duty for the first time, get the black loading screen but rather a piece of art and then it swiftly changes into a CS before the instance starts. In my head just feels like it would kill the pacing, it was only ever needed in other games because loading took a while and honestly with PS3 support dropping there should be less instances of long loading screens for people unless it's their internet acting up.
Loading screens between zones are never long enough (for me, at least) to really make use of any artwork. I wouldn't be able to get a good look at it before I zone in. The only exception is Idyllshire, but even then, come 4.0, it'll be Rhalgr's Reach instead.
I disagree with the last two posts. My loading times are quick (rarely is anyone ever loaded in before me in a roulette/zone etc.), but I still feel there is ample time with the black screen that would be better spent with nice artwork. This is common in other games of the genre (i.e. WoW, GW2). This would be a great time to include tips as well (i.e. WoW).
We'd need PS5 for that.
In all seriousness, I like the idea but like others have said, we're gonna be zoning in and out quick for the most part. I can't think of any solution for that :<
I kinda like the black loading screens, makes it really nice to cut videos at that point and possibly splice in others.
OP, just upgrade the PS3 license to a PS4 license
Loading Screen is around 3 sec long, too short to enjoy an Artwork.
