I really wish Machinist had used Automatons rather than turrets. We already have Mammet models in-game.

I'd like a job where the pet is the main means of action.

I enjoy SMN, used to main SCH, but I would rather a new pet option in which the pet is 90% of your skills verses the current set up.

I guess Puppetmaster would be the nearest example to what I'd like to see.

I don't think any FFX game had a geomancer, let alone a geomancer with pets. :V

That said, I chose "augment your pet", because...idk, it sounds cooler. Still lets you command your pet, but if all the buffs are set, you can do some beating up stuff of your own.

How about we make the current pet dps not be a joke

I think in order to make a better pet job, there would need to be a major advancement in the pet control system, preferably a command system that can override a pet's auto-attack skill (which it currently doesn't).

Honestly, I want a puppetmaster on steroids. Less XI puppetmaster and more Hugh Jackman in Real Steel, where the character would do the motion while the puppet does the actual attacks....oh, and the puppet might possibly look something like Tokunaga in Tales of the Abyss....oh, and the attacks just look comically powerful, with dirt and rocks flying everywhere whenever it hits the ground....seriously, why can't this be a thing....
