Keyboard Not Working

I was fiddling around hiding my helmet and when I had finally found what to do I have this problem :

When I press a key eg W S M etc. those letters show in chat ???? Does not clear after I push Enter.
I must have pressed a button by mistake when in character settings or something ????
Have restarted FF14 but still not fixed.

What can I do to get things back to normal.

I have absolutely no idea if this is actually how direct chat works, as I've never used it, but maybe that could be it? If you want to see if that's somehow become enabled, you can find that check box in the character configuration menu, general tab, control settings.

That's the only thing I can think of, so it's my best guess. Good luck!
