I'm not sure if this suggestion belongs here, but I made it to Fanfest and found myself sick today which is day 2. I'm not a jerk willing to spread my germs around in the heavily populated convention hall, but find myself unable to enjoy what I came here for.
If possible for next Fanfest, please include a livestream key with the Fanfest tickets just so we can still enjoy Fanfest live while outside of the halls, e.g. we suddenly got sick or even while out eating lunch (or standing in the merchandise line v_v)

I also wish they had done this. I missed the lore panel standing in the Merchandise line (and was only a few people short from the counter when they sold out of the lore book after fighting those lines since day 1 ;_;) and couldn't really hear what was being said (granted, I gave up trying and got to meet some pretty awesome other players!) And then there was the Mini Cactpot...I wish they had displayed the winning numbers on the screens there instead of making us all congest behind the one (Thank you Reddit users that had the decency to put them up for people during that madness!) And I missed part of the live letter because I was in line for Duty Roulette.. though I'm not as bummed about that because I ran into another ENTM model/judge and had a fun time talking with her! :)

Sadly I have to disagree, unless you are willing to pay an extra 30 for it. The livestream wasn't made for you the event-goer. You are paying for the event swag, the ability to see the panels physically, obtaining merch earlier than others without shipping and handling, and other fun stuff that can only be done at the event like the pvp corner, ultima fight, and RL mini-games along with the social aspect of trading Triple Triad cards and the hidibrand game. And of course helping with the cost of all the employees within the event.
The point is, your ticket provides the cash for all the above content, you aren't given a livestream because it's not in the cost of the ticket. While of course it sucks that you were sick you have to keep in mind that just because you went to the event it doesn't automatically mean you should also gain access to the livestream unless SE themselves put it in the cost of the ticket, but they didn't because they most likely felt a lot of people going to the event wouldn't want to pay for a livestream they would most likely not watch. -

Makes no sense since livestream costs em nothing to give access to to SE. They charge by using Cleeng as a paywall. IIRC blizzcon ie gives access to event goers stream access
