The potential of MRD
So I know a lot of us have complained about missing, or the dmg we deal with our MRD. I also know a lot of people don't like battle regimens, but I for one love them now that me and my LS friends took the time to practice them the other night on the pieste up at Rivers Meet in Coerthas. It was me and an archer doing the regimens, and a GLD tanking and keeping hate/healing himself. All R50. Here's my point allocation and weapon:
STR: 115 (118)
VIT: 102 (107)
DEX: 102
INT: 13
MND: 50
PIE: 80
Weapon: Engraved Bhuj - NQ
That should let you compare to your own MRD stats.
Now, after we would do the DEF down regimen we would pretty much just unload with WS regimens. I was dealing 900+ dmg on one hit with Maim, while the archer was only dealing about 500 ~ 600 with Bloodletter.
As for the issue of missing, idk why but I actually don't miss that often. Idk if it's my stats, the Electrum ring I equip or what (also have 2 garnet rings on my MRD build). So sry I cant help anyone there.

You do make a good point, but you need to take into consideration that Maim is a 2000tp WS while Bloodletter is a 1000tp WS plus if the effect lands that is an addition 500 damage that is dealt if the monster survives for another 15 seconds. In my opinion MRD is very good and will only get better once SE adjusts the class system.

I've personally never understood the Damage argument. I just upped my DEX some and ta-da. Done deal. (and the rings and what not are super helpful)
