Is there a way we can finally report the bots who fly around the world, kill things from underground and gather for all eternity in one area.
I'm in Gilgamesh. I know anyone also in Gilgamesh MUST know about these two midlander bots who've been farming non-stop everyday near Little Solace for weeks.

These bots have randomly generated names to try and look real most likely. But they definitely are NOT people. And it's really annoying seeing them evvvvery day I do beast tribe quests.
Not only them, but there are other botters there too. All in these 1-5man FCs with completely empty info pages.
I would really like to see these bots dealt with next somehow..

You should hide their names in the pictures, it's against the forum rules to witch hunt a player (even if he is a bot).
But i agree with you, on Cerberus when you go in Uldah you can see armies of Black Mage bots inside the walls when you do the new screenshot camera thing, it would be nice to get an option to report them for botting when right clicking on their names... -

Ugh I was expecting the name shame warning from people but hoping it wouldn't pop up.. Editing the pics on phone is going to be annoying.

It wouldn't be possible to completely automate these reports the way they can for chat, since the report would have to include a description of the reason why you're reporting someone. (From the chat log, that's presumably taken care of by including the text of their message as part of the report.) But the game could certainly do with some major improvements in the reporting feature. -

Anyone can just post a pic of a player name and say "they're a bot cause I saw it!", which leads to witch hunting and all sorts of nasty business. Ergo, it's just less of a hassle for Square to enforce the no shaming rule rather than dealing with drama fallout. And this policy is used quite often in other forums. So even if the image clearly shows someone botting, it's just less of a hassle to simply not post names everywhere and just go through the proper channels.Quote:
