More Efficient Means of doing Gathering Leves please

So i was wondering. Does anyone else think the current "two leves at a time" system for Gathering leves is a bit inefficient?

It just seems like a bit of a waste of time to have to get your two leves, travel to the camp, then travel back get the two leves again...rinse wash repeat as long as you wish to grind gathering leves.

This is not a complaint about Anima use or exp per leve at all. I strictly am referring two the number of Gathering leves you can collect at one time from the Leve NPC's in any given city.

Given that you can take out upto 8 Battle Leves at a time, I am wondering if either making Gathering Leves accessible via the Camps, or perhaps creating MORE than 2 gathering leves per camp would work?

Perhaps a leve that focuses on your secondary hand?

Not a terrible suggestion. The 2 at a time at most thing is kind of lacking. That much back and forth for only 2 at a time is a bit silly.

The solution I suspect lies at the root of the problem. Add more gathering leves (maybe 4 per level range instead of 2). I think that would be closer to reasonable if not a full 8 per level range.

I love your suggestion to add secondary tool leves. It would simultaneously teach players the locations of these gathering spots and increase the supply of dye, which would bring the price down low enough that dyeing low-level gear is cost effective.

I'm all for secondary tool leves, sounds like something they should have done from the start. Also, should add some secondary crafting tool leves as well. Hopefully they consider having secondary crafting tools needed for certain crafts in the future.

While I am all for additional gathering leves per city, do keep in mind currently the gathering leves that makes you look for a specific item do offer a big base reward for each item you get.

Off Hand gathering leves would be awesome too.

Honestly though for the amount of xp you can get with those when you first do them, at least at the higher leves nearly 10-12k for each one. It's really a small price to pay to have to run back and forth. The real issue is it would be nice if they could add Grade 6 nodes so the last 5 levels weren't as much as a pain to level.

With gathering it is pretty much 1-5, 10-15, 20-25, 30-35 and 40-50 can tend to be realllly slow when leveling up. But for the other levels you can burn through them in a snap as long as you have the leves saved up. I honestly think that if they did add more leves they might reduce the amount of xp the current ones give in order to balance out the amount of xp you can get from each one, so instead of those 2 leves giving about 20k at 35, you may receive 24k doing 4 different leves.

But ya, even as it stands now it might be hard to add extra leves, if you did the secondary tools, well for one the xp you might receive from them won't even be worthwhile if you have done them as a standalone I think the best you can get for a cut even at the most opitmal lv is 200 and that quickly dwindles down til it's only 69 for a success and 16 for a fail lol. Consider at 35 you can get the same type of leves offered right now in the form of secondary tool use. For the 3 spots
that's maybe 4200 and then maybe 1500 for completion. With the other concept of obtaining x item type it would be way to random based to actually be seen as a viable means of doing a leve and offer no sense of challenge in it. While you might say the way gathering in now offers no challenge there is still the manual act of inputting the command and the opportunity to hit the node from a certain location which the secondary tools just lack atm. There's also simple things liek Sweat of Brow that's pretty much an awesome button for obtaining ludicrous amounts of xp during a leve lol.

When you consider how many points one can amass through 2 leves comapred to how much one can obtain through fighting leves I think it's safe to say that the price to pay for it becoming slower isn't to bad if you think like an economist and treat your leveling up as an opportunity to farm certain materials. As long as you know the location of the material you are looking for and keep hitting from the same spot the aspect of leveling becomes a second though as you amass a bunch of materials that people want and can easily sell through the MW. The other thing is, alumen, Mistletoe, while you might obtain mass amounts of those items they to are worth quite a nice price through the NPC so even without having to rely on selling to other players you can obtain a nice bit of gil through NPCing.

I think the bets way to think about the gathering leves is they open the door to understanding your surrounding and aren't suppose to be a "main need" of obtaining xp once you get past the 5 level treshold. Once you obtained 5 levels through leves sure you can continue doing them but I"m 100% positive that if you just started to farm normally with your node finding you would see that the rate at which you obtain xp is a lot faster then relying on the leves.
