How do I dismiss a squadron member who has already joined?

My friend is telling me there used to be an option on the board to do it but I can't figure this out.

Please help

I don't think you can without 8 members. Do yoi have a full roster, yet?

You can still get new recruits even if you have a full roster. It will notify you, if you try to recruit a new member, that you are full and need to discharge an existing recruit. There's no need to discharge any recruits before, as you get the option to select when trying to recruit someone else.

Check: Is it because they are away on a mission? You DO have a new recruit waiting as well, right?

You recruit the new member (once they have appeared you speak with them/their papers on the table near the training board and then select a current recruit that they will replace)

I may not be using exact terminologies, but you get the picture; they replace another member :3
