Yokai Event
You've made me not want to buy Yokai 2, thanks to that awful Event. Grinded hundreds of FATEs for nothing. In the end, I had to stop, because it made me quit playing FF14 for a month. That was too much for an Event; It was strenuous and time consuming.

It was also completely optional.

It left me at the end wondering where I left off. I completely forgot what other goals I'd been working on in XIV before this started. Ended up just doing a few random sidequests yesterday. What other goals did I have here? Let's see... I think I'd been doing relic stuff.

Yokai event killed my dog and caused my divorce by seducing my wife. It took my job and left me in financial ruin. My children refer to Yokai event as father, and look at me as though I am a beggar in tattered robes on the street. I have nothing left anymore, thanks to Yokai event.
It is become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds.

Does one really need all the weapons. Sorry but I passed on it. I know for me personally these weapons will sit in my armoire and never see the light of day after awhile. Also the second mount wasn't and isn't anything special in my opinion. Furthermore, if you want them that bad you'll probably be able to buy them on Mogstation next year.

While yes, some of this is a bit overdramatic, I agree that the event killed any and all motivation to buy the game.
Which is a "big deal", since I rarely want to buy games in the first place because I really need to be hyped for them first, and I was for this one after E3.
Now all of that excitement is gone and they definitely lost a buyer by telling Yoshi-P to make it hard to finish the event, because I don't want to see any of those little critters ever again.
Then again, it probably introduced Yokai watch to a bigger audience, so I assume they gained more buyers than they lost through this event..

The droprate got really worse in the last hours. Was not the first time. On other days I had more than one time no drop for an entire hour.
But on the last day it got worse again. Stood up with 5 hours left and needed 15 token for one and 30 for another weapon on my twink. Both in outer La Noscea (yes these two Fates in the mine).
The first 2 1/2 hours went good. Got the 15 tokens for one weapon and 11 token for the last weapon. But then the luck heavily dropped nearly the same time for me and the others into the ground. Got only 6 tokens within the last 2 1/2 hours and so I ended with only 17 tokens for the last weapon till the time got to close to trade them in.
