HQ Watered Cordials are in my opinion the best addition this patch for DoL. 200GP with a 43 minutes (Eorzean) cooldown.
Yet surprisingly, I didn't see any on the market for the first few days in Fairie, and the few I put up didn't sell. Is there something that detracts from their awesomeness that I'm not seeing?
Many people have got used to not trying to maximise gathering due to the cool down & GP issues that existed before 3.4. Once people realise that they can fit more in with that quick 200GP & cool down they should get very popular.
Honestly, these are the cordials I've been waiting for. Setting aside the utility for maximizing gathering, even for casual gathering they're awesome. If you're on a DoM/DoW job and suddenly realize that, ocrap, a Legendary just opened up, you can switch classes, pop a Watered Cordial, and get to work. Sure, you COULD do that with regular and High Cordials, as well, but it always seemed so wasteful...
I think they're great, especially with only 1 Unspoiled Node item per 3 crafted. The ability (as pointed out above) to be able to pop one as soon as you've changed to your gatherer to get 600GP off the bat is a real godsend. As quick as the refresh is on the HQ (2m 6s) you can pop two in a hour if you're going between nodes or are just cycling through Ephemeral Nodes as quickly as possible, so completely devalues the comparatively high effort crafted Cordial HQ and the blue-scrip brought High Cordial.
