Sea of Trees <Sea> is a Rank 8 Free Company on the Balmung Final Fantasy XIV server with a company house located in Lavender Beds Ward 7, Plot 57; visitors are very welcome.

We are a small, casual group of friends both old and new with one mid-core static currently active.

Things we do:

Role-Playing
Leveling
Mid-Core Raiding
Dungeons/PvE

Our hope is to remain relatively small and build long-term relationships with new members. A big thing that has been lacking for a lot of us in XIV was that sense of family and community FFXI fostered (which several of us are veterans of); we’ve been able to establish that vibe and would like to welcome others to connect with us. Sea is LGBTQ+/friendly and in general a nice bunch.

I like the way your FC sounds and I would be interested in joining. My only concern would be my availability to get online, in terms of being a asset to your FC. Pretty much, my availability is most Tuesday nights, most weekend nights and randomly during the other nights of the week. I can provide an explanation if you would like. If that is not really an issue, I should be able to get online Sunday afternoon.

Heya LockeCole! My RL Family essentially has a FC on Balmung that is just us....but as such we are pretty lonely and would like to form perhaps an alliance?? with another family-like FC with whom we could hang, raid, craft, and just generally chat and have fun in game together. Woul d be interested in discussing this with you? Send a tell to Cosiangel Lumiance, Aerol Lumiance, Sharisse Lumiance, Serendipity Lumiance, and/or Zeke Lumiance (all of these chars are either myself or my RL Husband) we also have both of our RL fully grown adult sons playing with us Intermittently. Our FC Name is Ascension Stars <ASTAR> and we also have an active LS on Balmung by the same name. We are unusual as players go because we are older players (grandparents IRL in our late 50's) and our sons are married age 28 and 34 still single with his own FC a group of RL buddies he hangs with. we are both omnicrafters/omnigatherers capable of making 4 star endgame anything and gathering endgame anything with fully functional fleet of endgame airships and two small private estates in the lavender beds. We would love to help other up-and-coming crafters and gathers learn how to craft/gather as well as building up some serious alternate adventuring classes Currently we have LVL 60 BLM, BRD, and Pally and am working now on making endgame WHM and Astrologian Healers and are also going back and experiencing and opening/unlocking all the dungeons in the game for the first time.

I've been looking for something like you've posted -- I greatly miss the community aspect of MMOs. I cut my teeth on XI and was involved in a server progression group in WoW for several years. As I've gotten older, I've found that MMOs take up most of my gaming time these days, however I find the focus in new MMOs has shifted from social groups, to sitting in town and queuing for whatever the weekly capped currency might be. And while that's great, I've done entire dungeons without anyone saying a god damn word.

I love raiding, but I'm not looking for anything pushing server firsts anymore. You mentioned that you guys have an active midcore static. Is that currently full? What times do you raid? What jobs are you looking for?
