Healer auto facing target on heals constantly since 3.4

Since 3.4 the "Automatically Face target when using action" started to effect healer. I really dislike it. Long after I cure, sit down, and detarget my character is being effected by other's movment. I had to turn off this option to make it stop but this wasn't the behavior before the patch as a healer. As a healer they did away with having to face a target to heal from early beta.

Normally I'd be happy to turn this off.. but i use this option alot as a black mage. So having to turn this option on and off everytime I change jobs or want to dps on healer. Massively annoying for me. I'd like healer to return to the state of 3.3 as far as the facing target issue.

How do you guys feel about it? Did you guys find a better fix in the game I missed?

Are you saying that healers can no longer heal a target if they are not facing them? I haven't tested this yet but if that is the case it is a huge disappointment.

So that's why I was getting hit by gaze attacks. Ugh.

No ma'am you can still heal someone without facing them.. but now the game does a constant "Face target" spam that it used to never do before this patch. Makes your character spin on axis.

While you could say well.. turn it off if you dont like it... if you do that you dont auto face on attacks. So im stuck with the weird spinning healer if I want to quickly dps.

Ohhh, okay. Well I tend to jump around between targets fast so I guess I haven't noticed it yet. Sounds annoying :p

I'm mostly a healer so I just got used to having it off all the time. And when I do have a long run as a dps, I tend to just have to remind myself to manage where I look when she automatically faced the target. So I just forget to turn it off and remember to turn around. I only really needed to stay faced away for things like T7.

If you don't want to constantly toggle the option, unfortunately you just have to manage where your character is facing.

Its always done that for me. Nothing new with the patch. Thats why my healers had it turned off for t7.
