Voice Actors - Great Job!

Loving the voice actors this time around. At times I feel like I'm watching a Masterpiece Theater production. Great stuff!

Whoever voiced the Warrior of Darkness deserves a medal. Or at least a free house in Mist. Ward 1.

The VAs are better but the sound quality is still garbage. None of the vocal recordings have any atmosphere. They all sound like someone is speaking directly into a microphone with no spatial ambiance.

Listening to Post Coil Alisaie and then watching the Inn Scenes and hearing Pre-Coil ....the contrast is really good, the voice actress did an amazing job and is clearly the stand out VA for me out of the whole HW.

I give kudos to Arbert's VA. His exclamation to The Word after the fight sounded genuine. Urianger and Alisaie were top notch, too.


The normally stilted acting that plagued ARR feels like a bad memory compared to what the team put out this patch. I don't know if it was more time, better direction, the actors getting really into their parts, all three, or what, but it was all great!

I'm sure the english dub is fine, but i play with JP voices mainly because of tataru.

I play it in Japanese too. The voices are always good patch after patch ^^ (one that caught my attention was the random elezen guard from the scene with Aymeric. He sounded very cute!)

The English voice acting from 3.0 onwards has been incredible. I hope the trend continues.

I still can't get used to the new VAs, they sound too unnatural.

I listen to the japanese audio and they're been great in the past and in the present. I don't think they changed the japanese audio, because they still sound the same. It's probably the english dub that was changed for 3.0.
