First lieutenant

How do u apply for First lieutenant.
Nothing happens when i ask for a promotion.
What are the requierements?
Any ideas?

Patch notes say you have to complete the side quest, "Rising to the Challenge."

Have you checked your completed quests?

That is the same quest for GC squads and I have GC sqauds but I still get the responce from the NPC saying there is no further ranks availble

I have, and still can't be promoted.

Someone recalled to me, that the guy who gives the Squadron quest said if you do this (squadron stuff) then a promotion might be on the table; however, how much of it that needs to be done is a mystery, if it's even correct. Regardless, enjoy the "meaningful content" they wanted to have to introduce new ranks - basically ventures with no current reward and one hat plus a coat.

Oh ok. Sorry, I'm not actually at home on the game, I just saw that prerequisite and thought that may be it.

This is happening to me too. I've run around everywhere, done everything, and I still don't see a quest. Perhaps it's a bug?

I haven't been able to promote either, my seals were and still are at 50K I did the Squadron stuff, the Training mission and training there's no other quests.

Same for me. I'm assuming after you rank up your squad it'll come in time, they just failed miserably and explaining that.

Then again..... If you talk to the dude for a promotion it says you've reached the max ranks available, not "You haven't met the prerequisites yet" like it used too. soo.. maybe SE messed up and forgot to enable it?

They're not going to throw a promotion at you for doing ONE squadron quest (the most you could have done as the first is 60min, the rest 18hrs - AFAIK). You may be offered a promotion in a few weeks, don't panic.

you know what would be nice...if they clarified it on the patch notes like the usually do. It doesnt give any Requirements to it so its a mystery
