What is going to happen to our squadrons when switching Grand Companies?

I see no info on that in patch notes. I would like to know if the squadron moves together with you or you have to start all over again (even if you already have required rank when moving)?

It would be nice to get this info before I start working on my squardon because I intend to switch my GC.

Switch you GC before you start your squadron, just to be sure.

I'd imagine you'll have to start over from scratch if you switch to a different GC;although the progress you made with your previous GC might be saved.

Kinda like how they do it with PvP. From a lore PoV your squadrons are all members of your current GC, too.

Guess we'll find out once servers are up

Well, I'd think that since they are grand company members themselves, your squad will get a new commander and you start over in your new GC...

Likely the same as every other instance of GC progression.
From seals, to rank, to PvP rank, to glamour, to mount usage, you keep but are unable to utilize the options until you switch back.

I mean it's certianly possible for this to not be the case, but with so much that does work this way, it'd be head scratching to think it'd work otherwise.

Rank maybe? I've got first lieutenant in all three. I'll probably get second in all three even if I had to start my squad over.

Oh you mean if you fully level in one GC and switch you retain your rank in the one you left if you switch back? I was under the impression you'd have to start all over again if you switched back again.

I think the squadron remain in the old GC, waiting for you to come back

I'm working on GC delivery achievements on my last GC and one still needs quite a bit of work. After that I want to move to my initial GC. I have max ranks in all 3 GCs.
