I would like to know this as well, but, the second part of the actions revamps details will come soon. Wednesday next week at the latest I hope. We will still have enough time to provide feedback.
well if actions automatically drop to the bar then i presume there will only be one cure.
Id like to have a lower lvl cure to reserve mp when i dont need the higher lvl one. So my feed back will be let us have cure 1 and cure 2. cure 2 being equal to cure 3 now.
Didn't they say
"All traits will be made class-exclusive.
Adjustments will be made so that certain actions will only unleash their full potential when paired with traits belonging to the same class."
If DoW can't use the traits that beef up Cure/Sac then it will be scaled down or what not. At least thats how it reads to me.
Also, while I do suspect Cnj will have only Cure and Curaga at their disposal until White Mage can be unlocked, (and then technically it's WHM that has access to more cures....not CNJ) it doesn't mean SE won't over time introduce other 'Cure spells' that work in pretty much the same way. Anyway, while I read this as 'Cure gets more potent as you rank'. There might be a cap to it so that Cure ends up working like a Cure II or Cure III at it's max potency. They never said they wouldn't create a related but differently named 'Cure-like spell' (Heal for example) that we can only learn higher rank...this one might start at a Cure II/III potency but grow into Cure IV/V potency over time. Or maybe instead of 'Sacrifice' we'll get 'Regen'. I mean we already have an example of this. We'll lose Raise I/II because it'll become 'Raise' but we'll keep 'Rebirth' Both are spells that raise you but Rebirth is more potent.
As to how it will work on other classes....I'd make Cure/Sacrifice DOM specific honestly. BUT, I'd give every DOW it's own Cure ability. Some DOW classes like PGL already have a very strong example of a DD self cure. I say this because SE still is standing behind 'Classes are for Soloing Jobs are for Partying.' If that's the case then every class should get abilities that do decent damage and abilities that either absorb damage or self-heal.
There more than likely will only be cure and curaga for conj. So looks like everyone conj will have to rank up thm for a second healing spell I am suspecting. However, they would only have to rank up thm to level 4 for sacrifice and then it automatically scales to your conj level. So that is kind of nice. However for MP conservation not sure what to do. Maybe wait for more incoming dmg before a heal? I have yet to find a situation in this game where I need to conserve MP with the lower tier cures.
