Veteran Reward 1.0 Soundtrack

When ARR was released a lot of the bad things were changed and that was great. Yoshida really managed to change things around pretty well. 1.0 only barely had a handful of features that were done very well and one of them was the soundtrack by Nobuo Uematsu. The 1.0 soundtrack was done well and one of the only few things memorable with 1.0. Its too bad most of the music didn't survive the transition to 2.0 I really missed the original themes for all three capitals and the Coerthas theme too.

I'd like to suggest maybe a veteran reward could be implementing an option to change at least the capital themes and some zones back to the 1.0 music? idk maybe this idea sounds ridiculous but I think it could be interesting. I know the music is available with the orchestra but its not exactly the same thing. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks

Sadly I don't even think it would be possible, given how Soken has apparently implemented the music in city and outside zones (city themes have both a 'day time' and 'night time' version, and zone themes actually play a small section and then fade into silence, changing depending on where you are in the zone (not to mention places like hamlets have there own unique themes as well). All this is unique to ARR's OST and cannot be reflected in 1.0's OST sadly, meaning some kind of switching the ARR city and zone music to 1.0 tracks would just be more problematic that it was worth. Of course it could be possible, but would divert so much resources from other content it's highly unlikely it will ever happen.

Hence it's more likely you'll continue to see 1.0 music reappear elsewhere in the game and on the Orchestrion especially.

I think I'd settle for a personal compact orchestrion that I could take with me and play songs at will. It doesn't sound like they're too keen on this idea yet, but I would like it eventually.

They can give it to me along with the glamour prism system overhaul.

Reminds me of the "GB Sounds" key item in Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver! Neat little thing they added in for the nostalgia nerd in all of us.

I'd be down for it, but yeah, I don't see it as likely, they're more likely to just put stuff on the orchestrion.

Just allow us to have orchestrations on our Chocobos, and problem solved.
