Is anyone else scared regarding the AST changes coming? I for one fear that the changes will change one of the more fun jobs in the game for the worse if not done properly...I suppose I better have faith...

How could straight buffs cause a job to be worse? To be honest, they could change Spire/Ewer to whatever the hell they want at this point. It wouldn't make a difference because they're basically never drawn to be used for anything but AoE RR. Spear could literally do nothing and it wouldn't change what happens when I draw it 90% of the time. They won't be nerfing Balance/Arrow.

This card is probably the card YoshiP is alluding to when he said he's afraid of players on the skill ceiling running away even further when the buffs are put in. In its current form, a well timed spear can allow for an additional opener on the DPS classes in certain long fights which is arguably a stronger DPS gain than balance in the same usage.Quote:
